    Food trip

It's said that Lyon is the world capital of gastronomy. The first leg of this food trip will let you discover the city's cuisine, its charming elongated bouchon bistros and its famed charcuteries. Then take the road to Romans for its mini raviolis, Bourg-en-Bresse for its poultry, and the Massif des Bauges and Beaufort for their cheeses. Then a detour through the Chartreuse regional nature reserve before heading off towards Romans-sur-Isère to enjoy its characteristic goggle-shaped biscuits! Further down, in the Drôme, round off your tour with a slice of Montélimar nougat. After all that, you'll need a holiday!

Where to sleep : at the hotelF1 in Lyon (Caudan, Beynost, L'Isle d'Abeau, Saint-Priest, Solaize, Oullins or Venissieux), Chambéry La Motte-Servolex (close to the Massif des Bauges), Gières (Grenoble University, near La Chartreuse) and Bourg-lès-Valence (to the North of Valence, close to Romans-sur-Isère).

    Tips :
    • Visit the Chartreuse cellars in Voiron, the world's largest liqueur cellars, and uncover some of the secrets of this elixir that is made from over 130 plants.
    • Bungee jump from the Viaduc de Pélussin, just a few kilometres from Lyon.
